Y5 have had such a busy week!

We ended last week writing instructions - How to build a shelter. We tested then out and realised we needed to make a few adjustments to our writing! They are good enough for IKEA now. Flat pack shelter instructions!
On Tuesday we met with all the other Y5 children in our school cluster for a Challenge Day at St. John's School, (A Catholic Academy.) We wrote poems, played some maths games but the highlight was the Murder Mystery task when we worked in teams.
Thursday saw us learn how to play Tag Rugby during our PE lesson. It was fast and a bit tricky! We all went home with grubby knees but big smiles!
