On Friday 21st June 2012 I went to Hartlepool Historic Quay with my class. Before we got there we were put into groups.
First my group did the “Fighting Ships”. Fighting Ships was showing you how sailors lived 200 years ago. It was scary at first but there was a light to follow.  - Leo

The H.M.S. Trincomalee was very big. We went to the top and in pairs we turned the wheel.
When went downstairs we saw the hammocks were the sailors slept. - Amy

The captain slept in his cabin; he has a wooden cot in the corner. He also had two toilets all to himself. - Lauren
