Our Year 3 children visited Beamish Museum to celebrate the Olympics "Edwardian Style!"

Poppy said,
!It was so much fun getting dressed up to go to Beamish, I felt like I was living in the olden days. The croquet was very tricky trying to get the ball through the hoop. I liked playing tin can alley the best. I knocked down 3 cans!"

"Playing croquet was like leading a dog, trying to get it under the hoop. It was such a good and exciting day. I liked playing ping pong the best," said Charlie.

Luci liked doing the hula hoops the best. She said,
"The hoops were made out of wood instead of plastic. It was really tricky when I had to hula with 2 hoops and it kept on wobbling a bit. Evie was the winner and she had 3 hoops!!"
