Howl-o-ween treat!

I hope everyone had a fangtastic Howl-o-ween! My sissy and I were on hand to welcome all the trick-or-treaters. We took turns 'cause Momma couldn't hold two leashes and a candy bowl. The kids were so happy to see us! We got lots of petting. Lots of them remember us from earlier years -- we're famous! :)

And here's a special bonus pic from Bark in the Park last weekend. They had a pawtographer there doing portraits, so Momma and I posed for one. I think it turned out pretty grreat! I love my momma. :)

Finally, here's a Howl-o-ween rescue treat! LBR got an urgent call from a local shelter yesterday. A female boxer had been left in their overnight drop-box, and she was sick. They took her to the V-E-T, and he discovered she was having puppies! There was a puppy that got stuck in the birth canal, and instead of helping her, her owners just left her in the drop-box. Can you believe that?!

The stuck pup passed away, along with three other of his littermates. But three pups managed to survive. LBR immediately jumped into action to help this poor momma out!

 Look at that smile! She knows she and her babies are safe now and will get all the care and loving they can handle. Welcome to LBR, Mama! And your cute li'l babies too.
