You may recall that I am a new owner of a Serta iComfort bed. I've mentioned it before but it is totally worth mentioning again, this bed rocks! When I am sore after runs, I turn on the massage function and enjoy my body being caressed by my bed. And since it is king-sized it is more than big enough for my son and I to sleep on opposite sides of the bed but that never happens, we share cuddles and relax together!
In addition to their wonderful beds, Serta is a company that invests in social good and if you know me, this resonates with me on so many levels! September is Leukemia and Lymphoma month (you may recall my very FIRST half-marathon I ran to support research and funding for Leukemia & Lymphoma) Serta is supporting City of Hope, a biomedical research, treatment and education center dedicated to the prevention, treatment and cure of cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
With the Herd for Hope program, Serta designed a new, limited edition Counting Sheep plush toy to help raise funds for City of Hope. For a limited time, visit a participating Serta retailer and find out how you can receive a limited edition Counting Sheep for FREE, with either a qualified test rest or purchase. Plus, you can purchase a limited edition Counting Sheep from Serta online. For every sheep that is adopted and registered online, $1.50 will be donated to City of Hope and Serta will donate up to $9 for each individaul #60 Counting Sheep plush toy sold through December 31, 2012.As you may now, I have an iComfort mattress and am beyond thrilled with it. Why not check one out for yourself and do social good at the same time?
