"Hey, wanna play?"
Bernie is a young guy, only 1-2 years old, and he's looking for the perfect family to play with! He's got lots of boxer energy, and he loves loves LOVES kids. After all, they'll play soccer with him, or play chase around the yard, or play with him in the pool. That's another thing he loves -- water! He'd love someone who has a pool or visits a lake or the ocean a lot so he can splash around with you. Whee!!
Bernie is housebroken and knows basic commands. But he doesn't really like his crate. It makes him really stressed out to be locked up where he can't see his people. So he'd love someone who works from home, is a stay-home parent, or is retired. I know we'd ALL love that, but Bernie more than most! He's gets along well with other dogs and would love to be able to go to doggie day care or have lots of fun playdates. But he'd probably do best not having a doggy sibling, because he gets a little jealous when he has to share his toys or his people.
