It is hard to believe that my son starts kindergarten in less than two weeks! Two Weeks???? The summer has flown by and since school gets out early here in the South we start early too. This means that it is time to get on the back to school shopping. I've already done a bit and I'll share that with you during the next week but in the meantime, I want to alert you to a tool on the Walmart website that can help you with your back to school clothes shopping - The Back To School Closet!
The Back to School Closet allows you to window shop and browse the selection of clothes that Walmart carries according to the age of your child. Once you add items that you like to your closet, you have the ability to make outfits.
One of the best things about this tool is the ability to set your budget and as items are added you can see how much you've spent!
Once your closet is completed you can print your list and take it with you on your shopping excursion. It reminds me of having a grocery shopping list, everything is already picked out I just need to go to the store and get it. If you are in need of inspiration, you can go to the inspiration tag and browse closets that other shoppers have made.
If you look in my son's closet, you will see that not only did I choose articles of clothing but I also added a backpack and shoes to the mix. Bet you didn't know that Walmart now carries And1 sneakers, and I added them to his closet!
I think the Back to School Closet is a great way to prepare yourself for the inevitable school shopping trip and it saves both time and money! I actually ended up being under budget!
