Holy Week was celebrated in school with great reverence.
On Monday pupils, staff, governors, parishioners and parents took part in a "Washing of the Feet," liturgy which helped us all to come to a better understanding of the last actions of Jesus and to fulfil his final command to serve one another.
On Tuesday the older pupils of our school led us through the Stations of the Cross. This was very emotional and gave us a small insight into the traumatic last journey of Jesus before His crucifixion.
On Wednesday our younger pupils performed "Easter Praise," which highlighted the true wonder of Jesus; resurrection and prepared us well to begin the Easter celebrations in our parish and with our families.
We look forward to celebrating the Easter season on our return to school.
