Every child in the school had the opportunity to try judo-and it proved to be a great hit! Many children have now decided to join an after-school judo club, so watch out Team GB, we have some aspiring Olympians!
Continuing on the Olympic theme, we are now working towards achieving our very own Olympic medals. When children demonstrate some of the values promoted by the Olympics- courage, friendship, equality, determination and respect- and prove that these are a permanent approach to the way they choose to live, they are awarded a very prestigious medal. To be good citizens is an aspiration for everyone in our school community.
