Meet ARETHA!! Isn't she just gorgeous? I just love her. She's a sweet little 1-year-old puppy who had a hard lot in life. Just like me, she had to fight through yucky demodex mange, a skin disease that makes you lose your fur. But she's a tough chick, and she is now certified healthy and ready to go! Just look at that pretty fur. :)
And did you know that she's cat-friendly too? Not a lot of boxers get the whole "cats are friends, not food/toys" mantra, but Aretha has it down pat!

Here's the scoop! LBR is doing a special fundraising event this Friday, because it's 11-11-11 and that's just cool. :) We're encouraging everyone to donate just $11 to LBR that day. It's not a lot -- Mom said she's going to skip eating lunch out that day and it's covered! --but when aaaaaaall the pawesome LBR fans do it, it adds up to a LOT of money for the dogs!!
