This week we welcomed a new volunteer to our school. Aino Walteri is a student from Helsinki, the capital city of Finland, and she will be working in our school for the next three months.
Aino is a talented sportsperson and musician, and is keen to become fully involved in all aspects of school life. She will also teach us how to speak Finnish. (Better get your phrase book out Mrs Reilly-O'Donnell!!)
We hope County Durham will be a happy home for you for the next few months, Aino!
